Words cannot describe my feelings over the loss of Rhoda! We had a great friendship for over 50 years, and as I visited her weekly during her last days, she was at peace being home and having the remarkable care from her aide, Doris! Dear Lemkin children,
I'm so sorry to hear about your mom. I remember her so well and how much she cared for all of you. I believe I had at least three of you in my first grade class at Davis St. My condolences to the whole family.

Ed, family, I was saddened to hear of Rhoda´s passing. I remember what a good friend she was to my mother back in the day (and what a good friend you were to my father, till his death). Thank you, both. May the Lemkin family be comforted by fond memories of Rhoda; and, may her name forever be for a blessing.
