Rhonda Elaine Libby, 44, of Barton died suddenly November 22,2010 in Newport. She was born January 6, 1966 in Newport a daughter of David and Jeannette (Shufelt) Libby. Rhonda was employed by Ethan Allen MFG for over 11 years. Her hobbies included horseback riding, and she loved her dog Angel and her many other pets. She enjoyed family gatherings and her being with her many friends. She was always life of the party and she very much enjoyed her job until health issues forced her to retire. She is survived by her daughter Nina and her husband Geoff Carpenter of Barton and by the following brothers and sisters: Wayne Libby and his wife Cindy of Brownington Ctr,Vt, Darcy Libby and her companion Pam Viens of Brownington, Ctr, Vt, Monte Libby and his wife Nicole of Newport, Deborah Libby and her companion Paul Labrecque of Brownington, Darlene Donna and her husband Brian of Newport Center, Vt, Randy White and his wife Pam of Willoughby Lake and Lesa Johnson and her husband Richard of Sutton, her long time companion Vernon "Skeet" Stauffeneker of Barton, her ex husband Steve Sicard and her mother-in-law Shirely Sicard of Westmore, and by several Aunts, Uncles, Nieces and Nephews. She was predeceased by her parents David and Jeannette Libby, and by a nephew Jason White. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday December 1, 2010 at the Curtis-Britch-Converse-Rushford Funeral Home, 12 Elm Street, Barton with the Pastor George Lawson officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday December 1, 2010 from 10:00 A.M. until the hour of the funeral. Interment will follow in Brownington Center Cemetery.
