My name is Art and I was a member of the Encourages with Ric. We were both proud army men I loved his stories about being a member of the Philippine Army. I teased him about mugging him for his hats. He had some great Army hats (keepers for the grand-kids). But more than that, I loved his fellowship as we chatted during our weekly breakfasts. It's hard for now, but it is not cliche for Christians to say "He's in a better place." I look forward to continuing our chats when I catch up with him....

I remember Mr Fernandez as a gentle man with a generous heart and a ready-smile. He and his wife raised five amazing, God-loving children. Their legacy lives on. Love, Helena
