Not sure what to say?

I knew ricardo when he was a tram operator at snowbird. my boyfriend was also a tram operator so I got to know ricardo a little bit better than from just seeing him on the tram. He was an amazing guy. We both loved to telemark and I can remember being at a backcountry rescue fundraiser and discussing why they should auction off a porsche. we decided that it would be very cool to drive up the canyons as well as being fast to get from one spot to another to ski. that was also when Top Gun was...

Caroline, I am so so sorry to hear this. My love goes out to your heart. Your pony will help you through this too. I haven't talked to you in a while, but think of you often!! Love, Jonna

Caroline, We are very grateful to hear your voice in this lovely tribute to a man we have loved through the years - even though there were great gaps of time in between meeting up with him. We skied and listened to music with Ricardo during his Denver days-24 years ago. We bumped into him at Alta at various times through the years while on 'home' visits to see family. (Sam finally got an opportunity to break away from family and ski the b.c. with Ricardo at the end of December, 2009). Each...

Sis, I always thought Ricard brought out the best in you. I loved the sense of humor you two shared. And I was so thankful that both Kroko sisters had found such wonderful partners. Love, Sis

Caroline, I didn't know you but knew Ricardo well from our discussions of geology, particularly Carlin-type deposits where we had a lot of overlap. I just saw him in Vancouver a scant two weeks ago. I am sorry for your loss.

Paula and I did not know Ricardo very well until his 50th b-day party and group ride out the Kokapelli trail at Dewey Brige. Thirty plus of his very good friends rode that day and we acted as guides. Ricardo's energy, friends and funny comments made the ride one of the most memorable rides P and I have done.
We also got to spend 7 solid days touring with him last Feb 2008. Again his love of the backcountry, his energy, his funny stories and the fact that he went to bed at a reasonable time...

Paula and Eddie will miss you and let your memories live on forever.
