Ricardo Rodriguez

Ricardo Rodriguez, 67, of Lorain, passed away Tuesday, July 19, 2016 in Lake Pointe Health Care Center following a lengthy illness.
He was born February 2, 1949 in Utuado, Puerto Rico. Ricardo came to Lorain in 1974. He worked for the Lorain Ford Assembly Plant and was a member of the United Auto Workers 1104, Lorain.
He will be dearly missed by his daughter Yahaira (Mathew) Avalos of Palm Bay Florida; his mother Ercilia Gonzalez of Utuado, Puerto Rico; brothers Hector L., Alfredo, and Oscar Rodriguez all of Puerto Rico; sisters Lydia and Genoveba Rodriguez both of Bronx, New York, Carmen, Margarita, Noemi and Miriam Rodriguez all of Puerto Rico; grandchildren Nelson Santiago, Jr. of Elyria and Angelica M. Santiago of Palm Bay and great granddaughter Niylah J. Santiago.
Ricardo was preceded in death by his father Luis Rodriguez and brothers Jose Rodriguez and Luisito Romero.
His family will receive friends Tuesday, July 26 from 5 until time of his funeral service at 7 PM in Templo Emmanuel Assembly of God, 4230 Clinton Avenue, Lorain, Pastor, Pedro L. Negron will officiate.
