Not sure what to say?

Just looking up Aldo, he was such a great friend; however, we drifted apart when I moved to Denver. Aldo was a Renaissance man and he'll always have my love and respect. I'm attaching a photo with he and my son, Connor.

TO ALDO AN OLD FRIEND GOD BLESS.

Aldo Favilli was truly one of God's very special gifts to the world.

I am saddened for the loss of this immensely talented and creative individual. His many years at the helm of Mattel's sculpting department helped make Mattel Toys aesthetically superior to any of the competition.

It was always a joy and privilege watching this master at work. His work is legendary. As an individual, Aldo was always on the bright side of life . . . he will remain a legend.

So sorry to hear about Aldo. He was a teammate of ours when we bowled at Gable House Bowl. He was a fun and artistic man who had a great sense of humor. He lived close to us and I remember waving to him as he drove his little VW station wagon around the area. We will always remember him.

So sad to hear of Aldo's passing. Besides being a man of immense talent, his warmth and humanity were evident to anyone who ever worked with or around him. His contribution to Mattel cannot be overstated. His smile brightened the day for all of us. He was loved.

There is a statue of St. Joseph of Cupertino in the entrance to the Franciscan Friary in Arroyo Grande, CA that beautifully captures the spirit of that saint. Mr. Favilli created that statue and it shows the depth of his understanding of the moment of ecstasy of St. Joseph. We friars pray that Mr. Favilli now in the presence of his Creator will experience that same ecstasy.

As a member of the Sound Studio at Mattel for a combined total of 22 years, I had many occasions to work with Aldo on projects that had speech. He was always very warm and funny, so dedicated to the best for the project and a pleasure to collaborate with. My thoughts are with you during this time.

God bless the Favilli family in this time of loss.
