Bona, Rich (Richie Honey) age 68, of Blaine, formerly of New Brighton, died Nov. 29 at his home surrounded by his loving family. Survived by Dorrese, the love of his life; children, Cheryl (Rick) Swatek, Rudie Herman, Dorrese (David) Larson, Ron (Gia) Herman; grandchildren, Ricky, Joe, Clarissa and Garette; sister, Dorothy (Duane) Wallin; brother, Bill (Marge) Bona; brother-in-law, Robert (Gail) Hart; many nieces, nephews, and his hunting & fishing friends. Rich's most admirable trait was his uncompromised integrity. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to MPD Foundation who is conducting research into the cause and cure for this devastating disease, Myelofibrosis. Interment Hillside Cemetery. Funeral service 10:30 AM Saturday, with visitation one hour prior to service and 5-8 PM Friday (TODAY) at: Washburn-McReavy Coon Rapids Chapel 763-767-1000 1827 Coon Rapids Blvd.

Please accept my hearfelt sympathy in the passing of Rich. Though we haven't seen each other in many years, it warms my heart to read in these entries all the love that was obviously so strong for Rich. I still remember when he and your Mom got married! You and your family are in my prayers.
