Rich Dalane

Rich was a neighbor of mine. Mostly kept to himself, as did I. But, after Hurricane Charley blew over an oak tree that landed on my house causing extensive damage, Rich was the only neighbor who stopped by afterwards and told me how sorry he was that this had happened to me. He was also the only neighbor who offered to help me in any way he could. I have never forgotten what, to him, may have been a small act of kindness, but, to me, was a huge act of kindness.
