I too remember standing up in the seat of daddys truck as a toddler and watching daddy and Uncle Dick talk. They use to laugh and he always had a big hug and a smile for me. I always got a small pack of salted peanuts or a pack of Teaberry gum, which I loved. I know that you will miss him terribly. My prayers are with your family.

I am so sorry for the loss of Uncle Dick. Even though he wasn't my uncle, it is what I had lovingly named him. I remember spending time with daddy up at the station with him and Dewey. Having lost both of my parents and all of my grandparents, I know what you are going through. Know that he was loved by many. I do not ever remember ever seeing him angry. I used to ask daddy if he ever got mad at anything.
