Not sure what to say?

I would like to express our sympathy at Chief Abele passing to his wife Claire and his family. Ray and Linda Benoit

We are very saddened by the news of Chief Ablele passing. We were extremely fond of Chief Abele and had, and always will have, a lot of respect for him. He touched a lot of lives and only wanted the best for everyone. We was a great person, he will truly be missed. Our condolences to the family.

Please accept the condolences of my family during this sad time. I have fond memories of the Chief and what he represented for the Norwich Police Dept. My parents loved and respected him deeply. I lost my mother one year ago and he came with his beautiful wife to pay his respects to my father and our family. My father was deeply saddened when I told him the news this morning, we just returned from Florida last night and had not heard this very sad news. Please accept our deepest sympathy.

Claire,Vicky,Tommy&Lisa, I am so sorry to hear about myour loss. I know he will be greatly missed. Rere

Lisa,

My mom died last year on Oct. 30 and, even though she was ill and it was not entirely unexpected, it was -- and remains -- a shock. So I am reaching out to you here to say how much I understand your pain today. I wish the best for you and your family in moving forward. I met your dad only once -- at the circus in 1997!

Nina

Although it's difficult today to see beyond the sorrow,
May looking back in memory help comfort you tomorrow. My thoughts and prayers are with your family.

To Mrs. Abele and the entire Abele Family,
Please accept my condolences on the passing of Chief Abele. I was fortunate to work with him during my time as MIS Director and enjoyed his wit, intellect and honesty. My heart goes out to you all - I'm so sorry work prevents me from attending his funeral; you are all in my thoughts and prayers.

Mrs Abele
I'm so sorry for the loss of Mr Abele. Growing up I have good memories of being at your house for various different holiday gatherings. My thoughts and prayers are with you and the family
