My deepest sympathies to his entire family. I knew Rick when I was a young teenager working at the Casa Romano. We had so many great times while at work. I will always remember his smile, easy laugh and love of life.

To the Ackel family,
I met Rick at a Regional meeting when we worked at Wells Fargo Armored Service back in the 80's. He worked in CT, I worked in MA.
I really enjoyed Rick's sense of humor. He always had the ability to make anyone laugh, a lot. I always looked forward to those otherwise boring meetings.
I'm sorry for your loss, he will be missed.

Rick and I had recently reconnected via Facebook. He reached out and told me about how much he'd always enjoyed visiting our farm and playing in the barn as kids, and how highly he thought of my father. That was wonderful to hear, as Dad has now passed. He was so friendly and positive--makes me sad we didn't have a chance to get together in person! My family sends its deepest sympathies to the entire Ackel family for your loss of this special man.
