Richard C. Ackley, 49, an avid outdoorsman who loved to golf, hunt, fish, and play cards, passed away in Lansing, Michigan, on Tuesday, April 4, 2000. The family will receive friends on Thursday, April 6, 2000, 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m., with recitation of the rosary at 8 p.m., at Shelly-Odell Funeral Home, 518 South Main Street, Eaton Rapids, Michigan. Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated on Friday, April 7, 11 a.m., at St. Peter Church, 515 East Knight Street, Eaton Rapids, with Father Bennett Constantine as Celebrant. Those desiring may make contributions in his memory to the American Cancer Society or the Michigan Lung Association, c/o Shelly-Odell Funeral Home, 518 South Main Street, Eaton Rapids, MI 48827.
I am sorta late getting here to Eaton Rapids, Richard/Rick, but still want to say Thank You for your beautiful life in mine and ours. Finally was able to have some personal time with you and Donna this week. What a joy and Blessing.
