Richard M. Adams

My condolences to the family. I met Richard in Alaska in 1998 while working at Bear Trail Lodge. I took him and his friend, Dixon to several sites for Sockeye. I enjoyed Richard's sense of humor and his dedication to fly fishing. He was one of our regulars at the lodge and we got to be friends. I always enjoyed it when he and his buddy Ray would show up. I'll miss him.

Sad to hear. Rich and I spent many hours in thoughtful conversations while watching our sons (Matt and Jesse) engaged in youth sports. He was a proud dad and a true academic.

My heart goes out to your family for your great loss. Rich was one of the good guys. Please know that you are in my thoughts.

Rich was such a kind and thoughtful person. While I will remember his excellent professional advice, I will remember duck hunting with him especially the first time he took me out. I am disabled and slow. We had to go through and very rushing creek. Rich went at my pace and assisted me the whole way. After we were setup, he always let me take the first shot, which I usually missed. Then he would make the shot - he was an excellent shot. As we waited in the blind he was so much fun to visit...
