I was fortunate to have Dr. Adinaro as a professor in the mid-1970s. He always encouraged debate and discussion no matter what side of the political spectrum you were on. He was a great teacher because he made students think and defend their position rather than parrot his views.

Very sorry to read this. We have lived in Tuxedo Park since 1978 and I have memories of both Mr. and Mrs. Adinaro. I remember when they began collecting newspapers for recycling long before it became something communities did. I also know there was a shared love of cats. May God lessen the grief in the hearts of all loved ones. May memories sustain you all.

Condolences to the family of Dr. Dick Adinaro, a great teacher and a true gentleman. He was a devoted Setonian who made generations of students better thinkers, and better people. Requiescat In Pace.
