Thanks for sharing your story with me and all the sketches of India ! Rest Easy Rich Ahern

I really enjoyed the stories of India
Thank you sir

Rich Ahern lived a life of intense curiosity for people, places, and ideas. He was able to translate that intensity to his unique brand of art, architecture, and philosphy. He touched many of us with values that are now an integral part of our lives.
Rich was a major influence in my life at an early age, and he will be missed.

his influence on rick (savage) and myself was profound, and our children cherished his tributes to them.

Dick was a true friend and benign influence. I shall miss him.

Ahern was a close friend, a mentor and a giant in my life. His energy, creativity and extraordinary ecstasy about being alive enriched the lives of everyone around him.

We met in 1968. I last spoke to him a couple years ago. All I want to say is "Thank you!".

What a full life..fighting in WWII to founding peace initiatives and the Green Party!..I remember what fun it was to go Dick's parties some where on State Street over about where the UM Art Gallery is now...seems like there was an outdoor deck and back stairs in the alley behind Jakes. How intense Dick always seemed..totally focused on whatever was at hand. Didnt he also do some architectural drawings? I'm sorry I never knew him better. Rest in Peace. Claudella Archambeau Jones
