Dick was a great friend and business ally. I always admired his ambition restoring old tractors. Gordon Hankinson and the Hankinson Radiator Shop Gang

I had known Dick for many years, a good man. We had awarded him the Lifetime Dedication Award at our November 6th, 2022 Michigan Motorsports Hall of Fame ceremony in Mt. Pleasant, with Teddy accepting. He was beyond deserving of this honor. Daniel S. Van Koevering, Past 20-year President (1995-2015). Michigan Motorsports Hall of Fame

Sandra & Ted, I think that we knew Dick all of our racing years (30 +) and having the connection of driving a car that Dick & George designed and doing a fair amount of winning with ! We are very sorry to hear of his passing. We're also proud of his involvement with Ted and racing the spirit car. Glad to call Dick a friend and he will be missed. RIP Dick !!
