Not sure what to say?

Dick was a great supporter of the Rape Crisis Center, and as we approach our annual event, he is remembered frequently in our meetings. We miss his input, his ideas, and suggestions for a better event. What a unselfish kind, interesting, and sincere friend you were. I miss you.

So saddened by this news, along with the passing of Dick's son Scott. We had no idea...they were both the most wonderful friends, and Dick was our neighbor in Newport Beach for many years. We have such wonderful memories of both, and oh how we will miss them. Love to his family, Rob and Arnel Gustavson

Dick with the original test pilot of the Sr-71, Bob Gilliland

Dick was a great friend and supporter of the March Field Air Museum. His favorite aircraft was the SR-71 and he generously sponsored its ongoing maintenance and the semi annual SR-71 Symposium at the museum. The photo is of Dick and the original SR-71 test pilot, Bob Gilliland who he was so proud to have met. Somehow I feel him up in the sky right now whizzing by in the SR-71 alongside his friend the late General Pitts saying "Whee! I finally got to ride in it!" He will be missed but not...

My heart felt sympathies and prayers are with you all. I will miss Dick's sense of humor and genuine concern for others.

Our love and prayers go out to Dick's family. He was a very generous man who gave much to the community

Dick was a wonderful boss & friend,he will be sorely missed.I am so sorry for everyone's loss. Lisa Dumaguindin(former employee)

Dick was a dear friend to the Rape Crisis Center, and Operation Safehouse. The staff and Boards of Directors for both agencies were always grateful for his interest, support, and friendship. We will miss him, but will not forget his acts of generosity or his "red" jacket. Sincere wishes of sympathy to the family. Jan Duke (Board Member)

Dick was always very kind to all the grand kids. I loved talking football with him and he was always interested in what I was up to when I got to spend time with him. His charity and generosity will never be forgotten. We love you Eric and Shelly very much, and our thought and prayers are with you.

Michelle and Eric, I know you will miss your Father greatly. I am so sorry for your loss. Your Father gave so much to charities and to the community. He will be greatly missed, but forever in the hearts of those who loved him.
