Nita, I was so saddened to hear of Rich's passing. The two of you were so meant for each other and I thought you would grow old and grey together. Funny how life steps in and changes all that. You know I am here for you no matter what you need. Just call. I still can not believe Rich is gone. I will never forget his smile! He had such an awesome smile! God bless and keep you both safe until the day that you are together again.

Carol I am so sorry to hear of your loss. I saw his name in the paper the other day but wasn't sure if he was your brother. My heart goes out to you and your entire family. He will always be around watching over you and the rest of the family. As one veteran to another I salute you Dick, rest in peace....

Dick will always be remembered as you share the stories and the memories of how he lived his life and how very much he meant, may you find comfort, for neither time, nor distance,
nor death itself can touch a love that endures forever.
The times you think about Dick should not be moments of grief. Rather think of all the wonderful times you had together. You might not have spent as much time as you wanted with him.
Those few precious moments should be remembered...

I knew "Dick" in the mid-sixties and although we had lost touch by the late-sixties, it was apparent he had the makings of a hero (even as far back as then). I want to express my sincere condolences to all of Dick's family. (Carol and I were also friends back then and I still recall us hanging out at Nesta's house).
God speed, Dick, we are all blessed to have known you.
Fondly,
Peggy

To Richard's family, I'd like to express my deepest sorrow for Richard and his family. I knew Richard (Dick) since the 70's knew him when he had his little sporty car live in his little very little house where his big house sits now. Richard was a good person a great friend to have. I found him funny charming respectful and much more. Thank you Richard for serving our country. Good job my friend may you reap your reward in heaven with our Lord, R.I.P. Love Ronnette
