Not sure what to say?

To Richard's Family,
I was a classmate of Richard's; graduating class of 1965. Lawrence (Man) Thornton, Quarterback, and Richard (Mose) Allen, Fullback, were part of a fantastic backfield for the G. W. Carver High Panthers. May God Bless you and keep your family strong and comforted as you go through these temporary moments of separation, looking forward to that great re-union in eternity.

Minister John T. Smith, III
Longview, Texas

As the days and weeks pass, and as you return to life's routine, may you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of family and friends.

Dear Family, I am sorry to hear of my classmate's passing. We attended G. W. Carver together, Class of 1965. My prayers are with you at this time. Trust in His word and He will bring you comfort. May God's blessings be with you and bring you peace.

Dear Family. You are all in our thoughts and prayers. Thank you for letting us care for Mr. Allen.

We will miss Richard's humor and stories here at Gross-Yowell. The family is in our thoughts and prayers.

I remember when there were hardly any families living on "our hill" so it makes sense that all us kids reside at each other houses. We kept the trail hot from our house to your house so you were just another sibling in our household. Rest in peach, Moses, my brother. You can Poochie have a lot to catch up on. Now you and Penny are reunited.
