Not sure what to say?

A month has passed since Dad's passing. We would like to extend our sincere thanks to all of you for your words of sympathy and friendship in helping us through this sad time in our lives. He was a good man who will be missed by all that knew him. We will all see him again someday. Love Mary Beth, Maggie, Mike, Susie, Richie, Kaytee, Carly and Hadley

So sorry for your loss. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.

I am going to miss seeing his smiling face coming into or waiting on the barstool as I come into the Legion this winter. I will always remember how he treated us when we went to visit the State Street Tavern and the American Legion Post in North Adams......his friends Chrissy and Joe Skomro American Legion Post 271 Jupiter, FL.

I went to school with Dick at Mark Hopkins and at Drury. He was always one of the "good guys" Occasionally when I was in town I would see him at the Legion and he still was a "good guy". I know he will be missed but he will never be forgotten.

To The Ameen Family,
11/7/09......Just read about the loss of your Husband/Dad and I send my sympathy to all of you. I hope the days ahead will be filled with warm and comforting thoughts of him.

I met Dick in 1950 through my husband, Max, when I lived around the corner from the "store". I knew him better in later years again when we both worked at 85 Main st and I always looked forward to seeing his happy smile in the morning. Oh I miss that smile and hello.
