I remember Richard very well. He was a very kind, caring and gently person. He is sorely missed. I also miss his wonderful mother, Kay Farian, who I worked with for many years at Lincoln Hospital, and who a wonderful person and physician! RIP Richard and Kay. Joel Gernsheimer

Richard was one of the most extra-ordinary men that I've ever met. Kind, gentle, considerate and intelligent...as well as more than handsome...he will be always missed by those who knew him.

Cousin, I think I missed something special about not knowing you. Perhaps in the next life we could all have a family reunion. Karen

I held down the fort for a half hour or so, and then he returned, with a...

I am very saddened by Richard's passing. Though I did not know him very well, he was one of those people that possessed a ”je ne sais quoi” quality that made him unforgettable. He had a welcoming smile and a genuine inquisitiveness that always put me at ease. Kind, generous, thoughtful and inspired is how I will remember him. My deepest sympathies go out to all his family and friends.
