My prayers are with you all during this time. I worked with Ric many years ago. I remember an network install trip to Huntsville, Alabama. At the completion of the installation work, we got free tickets to a local triple-A baseball game. We had A LOT of good fun in the "cheap seats" watching that game! Ric was a great person to work with. May he be at peace.
