Richard cared deeply for his family. He was kind and friendly and always had a good story to share. There is nothing we can say or do to ease your pain, but please know that our thoughts and prayers are with you. With our deepest condolences.

Capt Apostolico fair winds and calm seas sir. What a honor to serve with you at Charlie Company, Charleston SC. We will carry on here sir, as you now serve our Supreme Commander. We salute you XO.

As the days and weeks pass, and as you return to life's routine, may you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of family and friends.

I met Rich through Diana, back when the kids were young. In the little time I spent around him I was struck by his devotion to his family. It was obvious during the first 5 minutes of meeting him how much he absolutely adored and prioritized his wife and his children. I'm so incredibly sorry for your loss.

I am so sorry for your loss. I was fortunate enough to have met Mr. Apostolico at several SOA events. Everyone at SOA is sending thoughts and prayers to the entire family. We are here for you.
