Not sure what to say?

Richard and I were in school together from 1st to 12th grade. I believe it was in 6th grade that our teacher gave him the nickname Pro, for professor. By 8th grade his friends, including me, had changed his nickname to Crow. In 8th grade I taught him the correct technique for punting a football and he became one the the best punters in our class. Wish I could talk to him again.

You were a truely great brother. I will miss talking to you. To bad we lived so far apart so we couldn't visit more often. Will miss you alot brother.

All members of the UMKC dental community mourn the passing of Dr. Richard Arellanes, a member of the DDS Class of 1974. On behalf of our faculty, students, staff and alumni, we wish to convey our heartfelt sympathies to Dr. Arellanes's family.

So sorry for you loss, he was a great dentist. My condolences to Carol and Andrea. God bless, will keep you in our prayers.

I was very sorry to hear about Richard. We were classmates at St. Anne's and St. Michael's. So many times I meant to drop in on him in Las Vegas. Not too many like Richard. My condolences to all family and friends.

I'm going to miss you uncle Richard, I have a picture of you as my godfather when I was a kid at baptism. I miss visiting you, Carol, and Andrea growing up. My heart goes out to the family at this time. Rest in peace uncle, I love you. Your nephew Mikey
