Not sure what to say?

I just now learned of this and this is a real blow. Dick was a fixture for me, a man who was touched only softly by time and more than any other teacher or coach helped shape me into who I am today. I am sad. Sad sad sad. Counting high school, 2 undergrad degrees and an MBA it was still Dick's Semantics class in 1988 that was by far the most valuable to me as an adult. He was ahead of his time, he was irreplaceable, he has shaped so many lives for the better the world is diminished...

I was one of Mr. Arnold's students in the 1970s. His lessons stayed with me all my life. Thank you Mr. Arnold, for all you did for us. We were all your children. Go forth into the next realm, into the stardust and moonlight, a blessed child of the universe.

Dear Jeff and Arron. Roberta and I are so sorry to hear of your dad´s passing. He was quite a guy and he and I went on many runs together. I must confess he could go farther and faster as I was more a plodder than a track man like your dad. Starlite was such a great place for you kids to grow up. A rare opportunity. Many good memories. Seems like only yesterday. God bless and all the best to you. Paul and Roberta Young.
