Read MoreI knew Richard from Patterson Park, where we often walked our dogs together and chatted about the neighborhood. He was one of the first people I met when I moved to Baltimore and he helped me learn my way around this city. He will be missed.

A lot of us played our first shows at the Sidebar. Richard gave us the ability to do this. I'm not sure what the music scene would be like in Baltimore without Richard.

Fantastic man. Richard was one of a few kind hearted and successful bar owners in a sea of the opposite. He will be sorely missed.

Richard will be dearly missed. He was such a wonderful man. In my mind, I think of Richard and Stout, together again, Gives me a little comfort during this sad time.
