I am so sorry for your loss. I got to know Richard when we worked on Rob and Darlene's cottage. One weekend, the four of us (Richard, Rob, Darlene and myself) shovelled a dump truck full of gravel into the excavation that would be the cottage. We had a lot of laughs. He was such a cheerful man.
