Richard Joseph Badenhausen

Please except my deepest sympathies to you and your family at this time of grieving.

He was a man of character and competence, one his family could rely on. I remember him also as a gifted photographer who somehow got photos of the family with all our eyes open. The last time we saw him was when he and Margot visited us here in Coronado. We went to a fundraiser that somehow had absolutely no lighting in the parking lot or the streets in an unfamiliar area. Without fuss he took over the car and the navigation system and got us out of there. A small thing but very typical.

Some of my favorite memories from childhood were of visiting Uncle Dick and skiing together at Stratton. We would rate the days for good weather, low crowds, and of course the snow.
