Dear Danielle,
I just learned of the passing of your father. From Eagle Scout, to track star, to coach, to choir director, what a unique set of accomplishments. You have a my deepest sympathy.

Coach Bain was my history teacher at Furr. He was always a very fair teacher and really connected with his students. He made a difference in the lives of many. Condolences to all who loved him.

It was a real joy when I got to sit next to Richard and harmonize with him in choir. I really appreciated the fact that he, like I, had sung the familiar hymns for so many years that he did not need a hymnal to sing the parts. I will really miss his warm spirit and sense of humor. May God surround his family and friends with comfort and love.

It was such a joy singing with Richard in the choir! I was always thrilled when we happened to be seated next to each other on Sunday morning. I appreciated that he, like I, had sung the familiar hymns for so many years that we did not need a hymnal to sing our harmony parts. And he shared his solos with such meaning and passion. I will really miss him! May God surround his family and friends with His comfort and love.
