You are soo missed, continue to watch over your family. !

Mr. Balentine was a funny, caring man, and he displayed that fact every day. I graduated several years ago now, but still remember his kindness. He is missed.

There is barely a day that passes that I do not think of Mr. Balentine. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family; know that he will be remembered always.

As we approach the time one year ago Richard faded from his family"s embrace, I'd like to acknowledge those that helped him find sanctuary in campus ministry: Sister Beth, dear Cathy, Don and his companion who bears my name Carlos. All of us at VU helped him on his journey. May he be granted eternal peace.

Our heartfelt condolences to Mr. Balentine's family. We are heartbroken and will remember him always. Not only was Richard a teacher of my son, Nick - he became a close family friend of ours and we would often have dinner together (and with Nick's grandmother as well).
