Richard, it was wonderful growing up with you all through grammar school and through high school. We all tried to stay in touch, too bad life always gets in the way and we can't always do the things we want or plan on doing. You always were a wonderful friend and will always be in my thoughts and in my heart. Rest in peace my friend. Anne Marie (Tecza) Schroeder

Rich was a great friend to so many people in the sierra Club. He had a quiet, respectful love of the outdoors and was the spirit behind so many of us becoming leaders. He was a great friend to so many! Thanks Rich!
