Not sure what to say?

Came upon this obit and realized I knew him...

We were lucky to have such leaders in Troop 529 who cared about us and taught us important lessons.

When I took an EMT class back in the 80's, it was a breeze, specifically because of Dick's training.

JoAnn, so sorry for your loss your brother Frank & Gloria

Dick Ball is fondly remembered for the many years of leadership that he contributed to the Scouts of Troop 529 in NYC. He enriched many of our lives.

Dear Family: Our thougts and prayers are with you at this time. Dick was a wonderful, kind, guy with a great sense of humor and always with a smile.
Love Dennis & Mary Lou

I was a scout in Troop 529 when Dick was the leader. Over the years his training was priceless and enabled me to save several lives.

Dear Joanne:
Dale and I were extremely upset to learn of your loss. Dick and I had our problems but we always remained cordial and friendly. We had so much in common. We used to discuss opera all the time since we both loved it so much. We both knew so many of the same people since we had both trained at Columbia. He was so intelligent and well read and knowledgeable about everything. i always admired his intellectual abilities and would defer to his expertise in many decision making...

Dear Joanne and family:

My sympathy and prayers go out to your family at this most difficult time of your lives. I know how much you loved your husband and took care of him. Just know he is looking down on you and thanking you for your devoted love. Sorry I won't be there in person, but you will all be remembered on Thursday in my prayers. Perhaps our paths will once again pass at a UC function. God bless all of you. Barbara Beyer

Thinking of you and your family, Kathy. So sorry for your loss.
