Not sure what to say?

My condolences.

Thank you for your tireless efforts after the war. The world is a better place because you were here. May you rest in peace.

My deepest sympathies to the family. Jill, my prayers are with you and your family.

I am so very saddened by the news of Mr. Barancik's passing. I was his Administrative Assistant at Barancik, Conte for several years and enjoyed a dance with him at my wedding. I never knew about his service in the MFAA, but that probably explains his calling the architects in his firm "good soldiers". Robert and I send our heartfelt condolences to the Barancik family.

In the late 1970's Richard designed a new senior housing complex on Oak St., Morningside Apts. I was fortunate to be hired as the manager. The building set a new standard for senior housing in Chicago. The residents were so appreciative of the design, amenities and quality of their new homes. They were proud to live there.

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.

Richard was one of my favorite clients as a construction lawyer. As an architect, he was unusual in that he knew how to make money working for developers. I remember a family wedding, which was at the Drake ballroom. His wife who I also knew died suddenly shortly thereafter while on vacation and that was very disruptive of his life. He owned ranches in California that I visited. Paul Lurie

Dear Jill and Ellie,
While I have not seen you or your dad in many years, I have many fond memories of your mother and father, your aunts and of your maternal grand parents, Aunt Charlotte and Uncle Bernard. I became a member of the Hammerman Family when I married Alan H. “Mickey” Hammerman in 1957. I met Richard when Sue introduced him to us and we always enjoyed the occasions that we spent time with Sue and Dick. Richard was definitely a brilliant, talented and unforgettable...

Our deepest and sincerest condolences to the Richard Barancik family for their loss of a father, husband, grandfather, and great-grandfather. Richard Barancik was an extraordinary and talented architect. As a partner in his architectural firm, I knew Dick to be tough, demanding and also a kind mentor and friend. May his memory be with you always. Greg and Paula Kachoris
