Read MoreI am saddened to hear of the passing of Rich. As children we lived in the same neighborhood together and attended Park Avenue Grade School from kindergarten through graduation at Herricks High School in 1964. He was always so kind. My sincere condolences and prayers to all of his family.

I was saddened to hear of Rich's passing. I worked with Rich for 24 years at ARDE Barinco until his retirement. Rich was a very intelligent and thoughtful person. My prayers go out to Elaine and his children. Rich will truly be missed.

Richard and I went to Park Avenue Elementary school. We graduated from Herricks in 1964. I remember him as a very kind person
I last saw him at one of our class reunions about 5 or 6 years ago.
As for his family I wish to extend my heartfelt sympathy.
