Playing my drums today and a friend commented on my S-Hoop and I got to tell them a little bit about Rick and how kind he always was when I encountered him in the music store.

To Ricky... his father Eddie... and his mother... Margie...and all extended family members...
I was very saddened to hear about the loss of your son, and friend, Ricky.

I felt priviledged to have met Ricky at the 50th high school reunion for the graduating class of 1956 from Eastern High School. Ricky, had brought his mom to the reunion. Eddie, Ricky's dad and Margie, Ricky's mom, had been my classmates and friends.

I extend my deepest caring... prayers and sympathy...

To Rick's family...I am so sorry for your loss. I can't say anything about him that you don't already know. Rick would always sub for me in The Fanatics. He would bring his Mom with him to see the band. How wonderful is that? I loved Rick. He loved drums and had a child's heart. What a sweet, sweet guy.

Ricky's passing was such a shock to many of us. My heartfelt condolances go out to Mollie, Zachary, Angela and Ricky's family.
Ricky was genuinely nice and kind hearted and was always dedicated to Mollie, Zachary, and Angela. Mollie and Ricky were a perfect pair. He will be truly missed by all those who knew him.

Ricky was truly the most genuine, kind and thoughtful man I have ever known. He loved Mollie, Angela, and Zachary with an intensity that was admirable. I will always remember the love shining in Mollie and Ricky's eyes as they looked at each other. It was sincerely something out of a fairy tale to see how each loved the other.
May he sincerely rest in peace and feel God's love shining on him each second. May Mollie, his parents, and his children feel the peace that only time can bring.

Very sorry to hear of Rick's passing.His spirit will ring out of many a S Hoop adorned kit worldwide.

This morning I received the email about Rick's passing. I am, of course, in complete shock and disbelief. I am very saddened, and my heart goes out to you all.

From the minute I met Rick, I was his friend. Our many conversations about how to promote his passion, the S Hoop, were enjoyable, and I always wanted to do whatever I could to help promote this company. I will continue to do this at every clinic I do in Rick's honor, and I will always have the...

I am a relatively new endorser of the Safe Hoop company and the brief relationship I've had with Rick was nothing but enjoyable.
