Dick had been my neighbor for over 4 years. He was quiet, kind and just the most wonderful person. He was loved by everyone in our neighborhood. He always took the time to stop and help us out whenever we needed, and he loved my 3 boys and they loved him. He even bought them Christmas presents each year. Hello there, I do not know your family but as I was browsing the obituaries I came upon the picture of this sweet mans face and read the most beautifully written memorial to a much loved man. It made me slow down and get to know a wonderful man that you were so blessed to have had in your life. I'm sure he was lucky to have you also. My condolences to your family. I grew up with Richard and the Barry Family in Oakwood. I was also a good friend of his wife Shirley and her family. They were all wonderful people.
