Mary and family, Seeing Dick's obituary today brought back a lot of memories. Long before I was born the Bartel family lived just a few houses away from my own clan on North Oakley. So growing up I heard the Bartel name frequently from my siblings that were closer to Dick's age. An older brother, Bob Stark, worked at Michigan Bell and knew Dick very well.
