Not sure what to say?

Rich was a wonderful friend. As a young man attending high school in the mid 79´s, I was fortunate to have worked with Rich at Cahoon Nursery. This was prior to him buying the Nursery from Dominic J. He taught me so much about the retail and design aspects of the business. A wealth of knowledge he always made learning the business fun. A kind and caring man. A good man respected by his customers, his employees, the local communities and by the landscapers. May you rest in peace Rich! Tom...

Oh, Annie and Tina...my sympathies on Rich´s passing..I just became aware of the sad news today via a sign at the nursery :-(. I first met Rich as a customer in my early thirties...but I was there SO much that he offered me a job..haha!...he took a chance on me to do small landscape design work for the customers...and the rest was history...I continued working part-time for the next 20 years! Never a dull moment that´s for sure! He had a big heart, loved his cats, generously donated plant...

Sad to hear of Rich passing, I offer our deepest condolences at his passing.

I remember Rich from when I was a kid, my dad (Denis) and him were friends from way back during their time at Sears. The two were always joking around and having a laugh. One day around 2009 or so I was out to lunch with my dad and he mentioned he hadn't talked with Rich in some time, so I decided to take my dad over to Cahoon Nursery to see if I could help them reconnect. We ran into Rich right away and...

May the love of friends and family carry you through your grief.

Rich was probably my dads best friend. My dad was Bob Schoch. He owned Bobson Hardware. I always loved to go get and sell Christmas trees as a young boy. As a adult loved to take my kids to get Christmas trees from rich. I also enjoyed fishing with him down at the creek. Love him and will miss him.

My sympathy, Annie. Rich was a kind and generous friend. I loved his wry sense of humor and ability to use it as a marketing tool. He will be deeply missed.

My condolences to Rich's family. I went to St. Boniface with his sister, Mary Ann. May the angels welcome Rich into his heavenly home with the glory of God's love and mercy.

Although we still go to Cahoon Nursery, it was never the same without Rich. His unique "humor" will never be forgotten. One in a million and always appreciated.

Oh my goodness......Richard and I were playmates ...... we lived on W. 52nd Street. My condolances to his family....happpy childhood memories for me.
