I just found out about Dick. I lost Pat in January of this year. It was a long time ago when we were all in Texas. God bless you all

Dear Doris and family,
Gladys and I were shocked to get the news today that Dick passed last Sunday. I appreciated working with him and having him as our pastor. He helped me get into Western at a time they were being reluctant to accept RBC grads. Our hearts go out to you. We know you will miss him greatly.

Our deepest sympathies to Doris and family. We have such fond memories of visiting and listening to Dr Bates' sermon series on King David. When my husband called him to ask him to baptize our baby, Dr Bates was sitting in our living room, Bible in hand, within 10-15 minutes. He was a kind, wonderful man of God. The church was never the same without him.

Our family will always remember the kindness and support Dick shown to us during the loss of my husband. He was there for me and my children, who were young at the time.
Heaven has truly welcomed a wonderful faithful servant.
He will truly be missed.
