To the Baxter/Harper Families:

We would just like to express our deepest, deepest sympathy during this most difficult time. We must hold true to God's word.
To everything there is a season, a time for every purpose under heaven.
Faith in Christ will keep us steady in the stormy sea of life. This heartfelt message is from Virginia A. Smith, and Amos W. Harper Jr. as well. Love and Prayers,

Ms. Marie, Chub, and the Baxter Family: You know, ma, that my thoughts are with you and Chub and your family. May God carry you through this time of sorrow. I know that your faith is keeping you and that you will see your beloved son again. I never met Rev. Baxter, but if he was raised by you, and if he was anything like Chub, then I know he was a very good man. God bless and keep you all. Have a safe trip home. Call me if you need anything.

May you rest in peace Reb. May the...

My deepest sympathy to the family of a wonderful man, my friend and my brother. As a former Marching Ram, I am proud to have been led by the one and only "Reb". What a joy it must be to rest in the arms of Jesus. I am a witness that earth truly has no sorrow that Heaven cannot heal. His spirit and his legacy lives on!

Our thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief. May your memories bring you comfort.

My prayers go out for your family as you endure to make peace through your loss. I love you all! God bless you and keep you.

It is from God we come and to Him we must return. My deepest and sincerest condolences to the Baxter family. Having known "Reb" for 40 years or more,I was saddened to hear of his passing, yet joyful to know that the life he lived speaks of his ultimate place in the paradise. May God forgive him his sins and grant him paradise. Amen
