So sad for your loss. I have so many fun memories of every July 4th picnicking at Wayne and Esters and being a little kid bugging Richard and running through the barn and fields with him. Memories of his letting us ride his horse around the pasture. Going down to the stream and wading for crawdads with him. Lots of fun, family, food and fireworks. He was a dear person, always kind and thoughtful. So sorry I wasn't able to attend Richard's service today - down with the flu. ...

This world has lost a beautiful soul but heaven has gained an angel. Richard will be missed greatly by John and I. He has always been the father John needed in his life. He taught him so many things, especially how to love, Richard was a great man who led by example.
