Not sure what to say?

I was surprised to hear of Mr Dick Beedon's passing. He was a superb man who valued all his family. I was friends with his younger brother Tom. Their parents moved to California when we we young. His Mother was an excellent and compassionate nurse. Like a second Mother to me when l was young. The Beedon family are exceptional, intelligence and a hard working family. An especially wonderful family that not only cared for themselves but very giving to others as well. Many are missing the...

I first met Dick in 1987 in Sacramento CA. He was the head of a sales team for Prime Computing. My former wife worked as part of that team. I was only exposed to him during company parties and activities. He was an amazing personality. He could light up a room with his presence. He had a shine to him... he was engaging and captivating. He was an amazing person. Although we were never close... I felt close to him when he engaged me in conversation. I remember feeling embraced when he...

Six years already. Dick still lives on in my heart and memories. Just this past week I met a swimmer from U of M and I shared Dick and Muffy´s passion for swimming with him. Occasionally I see a grey VW drive by and think fondly of how he´d pull into the office each day after lunch with wet hair after his noon swim. Still miss him.

I have written and re-written so many times....and nothing seems to sound right...when I read about Dicks passing....my heart broke....bless you....I pray that you and your daughter are doing good. I´m going to stop now.....I am just so sorry....

I am so sorry to read this. I worked with Dick at IBM in Riverside. He spent several nights at my home, and my wife and children loved him being around. We lost touch after he left IBM. Remembering him will always bring joy to my heart!

Richard invited me in his house for months when I was a student many years ago without asking anything in return.
We sometimes realize what others are doing for us years later and unfortunately we do not have the opportunity to be as grateful as it should be.
But from this experience, I learned a different way of life and it has influenced my behavior to improve myself and try to be as good as him. Part of him will remain in me forever.

Dick was a tremendously talented man who loved life and left many lessons. Loved his stories and humor. He will be greatly missed.
