Not sure what to say?

In St. Francis RC Cathedral of Metuchen, I made my very first "Holy Communion" & "Confirmation" under the supervision of Monsignor Richard Behl. Maria Nazareth helped me receive my very first "Holy Communion" & was my "Confirmation" sponsor. After I made the sacraments, I was an altar server for a little while. I asked Monsignor Behl what job I could have in the church when I graduated highschool. The altar servers only served until they were in 12th grade. He told me that I could be an...

We would like to add continued condolences to his family. Humanly the void remains. Spiritually we celebrate. We know he has enjoyed reuniting with his family, friends, and parishioners, since his "move to Heaven." He was a wonderful Priest, Pastor, and man. Msgr. Behl was our Rector at St. Francis of Assisi Metuchen Diocese Cathedral, NJ. He had a close relationship with Donna's parents, especially her father; Victor De Marco. He will always be missed. We look forward to meeting again in...

We would like to once again extend our condolences to his family. Msgr. Behl was a special Priest, Pastor, and man. He was our Pastor at St. Francis of Assisi Metuchen Diocese Cathedral in NJ. He didn't just preach the word. He lived it. He went out of his way to know his parishioners as people not just members of his assembly. He has "moved to Heaven." Spiritually that is cause for celebration.

Jennifer Boehm. I was an Asher at St. Francis of Assisi in Metuchen, NJ 08840. The other Ushers still know me personally. We are the Boehm Family. Our Condolences will be sent to you..... Congratulations on this Wonderful Priest Life!!!!!

Dick and I were good friends at St Peters HS. We corresponded during my college and his seminary days. My wife Veronica grew up in St Mary's parish in South About so when we came back from our schooling in Iowa we visited him at St Mary's and had good discussions of the Vatican II changes.

When he was directing the mission appeals for the diocese he came out to Pittsburgh for a conference and visited our family. When he returned home he wrote a very lovely story about us and our...

Msgr. Behl was an inspiration to me from the first time I met him going to 7pm Mass @ St Thomas The Apostle. I am deeply saddened upon learning of his passing. I know he is in Heaven rejoicing with God Our Savior. May He Rest In Peace. A Good, Just and Holy Man. I Love you Msgr. Behl and sincerely Thank you for your kindness towards me.

Our Lady of the Mount

Our family is deeply saddened at the loss of Msgr. Behl. When he was pastor of OLM in Warren, he was an integral part of our family and helped us in many ways. My husband and I served with him on the parish council, and he also concelebrated the marriage of my daughter with her father-in-law who is a Minister.

MSGR BEHL Was a cousin of mine, he always had a smile on . He was there for our family when needed. May our LORD reward him greatly. John & Kathy Ritchie

Monsignor was always there for me when I wanted to talk to him. He always greeted everyone as they left church even if he wasn't the celebrant. He was an absolutely wonderful man that will be missed by the entire community. We've lost a great man. Although he isn't here with us anymore, I know he will not be forgotten by anyone who's heart he touched. Rest In Peace Monsignor. A life well lived. -Jason Krehl: Sayreville, NJ: STA Class of 2015
