Not sure what to say?

Richard and I were friends long after high School. My son's middle name is after Richard..Richard was known as 'woochie' to him as a child because he could not say Richard. I just instinctively looked Richard up this morning and was shocked to see he had passed. I had lost contact with him a couple of years ago as his phone number changed. I remember when Richard came to visit me in Colorado and several of us were Driving around in Rocky Mt National park at night...a wonderful song came on...

One of a kind were you, smiling I am, as I reflect.

Oh, Richard. I have such fond memories of our going to movies every week in 1969-1970 or so. Many I remember but one intense film was "Performance" at the Inwood. We were under the influence of some psychedelic so the movie´s impact was unforgettable. The last time we saw each other was in the 1990s. Peace and love to you, my friend. Nancy Jo Niven

When I was a little kid, I dreaded family gatherings, because as a lone child in a family of sharp-tongued, high-strung adults who didn't get along that well, family get-togethers were tense and uncomfortable... unless Richard was attending. Richard was an adored fixture in my family. He came to birthdays and Christmases, and when he arrived he changed everything into high-spirited good cheer. When I would overhear that he was going to be coming to a party, I knew it was actually going to be...

Single Memorial Tree

Uncle Richard was absolutely hilarious and super sweet. His quick wit could crack up everyone in the room. He will not be forgotten.

Richard had his very own seat on my funny bone! He was the sweetest person, but devilishly funny. My brother Angus and I are so happy that we got to hang out with him, after we all found ourselves back in Dallas. I am sending love and hugs to the loves of his life, Rose and Flynn and to Robert and Russell, Temple Wynne
