RICHARD DAVID BELLEW

            Richard David Bellew, 86, of Henderson, Kentucky, passed away on Friday, September 19, 2025.

            Born in Henderson, Kentucky, on December 12, 1938, to the late Edward and Mary Bellew, Richard was a U.S. Air Force veteran and worked as a safety director in the trucking industry.  He also worked for Henderson  City Police Department Henderson Fire Department.

            In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 48 years, Sharon Bellew.

            Survivors include one son, Rick Bellew, of Henderson, Kentucky; one stepson, Kevin Schwallier and his wife, Teresa, of Owensboro, Kentucky; two grandchildren, Chris Bellew and Jessica Lingerfelt (Bellew); and eight great-grandchildren.

            Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, September 24, 2025, at Rudy-Rowland Funeral Home.  Linda Fambrough will officiate.  Burial will be in Fairmont Cemetery with full military rites performed by American Legion Worsham Post No. 40.

            Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Tuesday, September 23, 2025, and until service time Wednesday at the funeral home.

            Pallbearers will be Rick Bellew, Kevin Schwallier, Chris Bellew, and Ryan Lingerfelt.
