I knew Dick for over twenty years, never spending more than a few hours with him at a trade show or perhaps a day on the road. He represented my company and as I have lived and gained experience, I realized how much value and goodness he brought to our industry. He was personable and even though months would separate our visits, he would always make me feel warm, familiar and most welcome. We met in 1975 in Lafayette,La at a employee softball game of a customer we were both doing business.
At that time,my company wanted to transfer me out of the South to the Washington D.C. area and I wanted to stay in the South.
Soon after we met,Dick made me a part of Dick Bellew Sales and our 30 year relationship began.
Through the good and the bad times we stayed together in Business but also...
