Not sure what to say?

Mr Belzer inspired me in so many ways. He was my favorite actor in SVU. His role taught me to look beyond just the surface of a situation or circumstance, and to look at underlying factors. He role inspired me not to quit when things were difficult, and to persevere through the storm. I miss him humor, his Witt, his plain common sense that seemed a well of life experience to draw from.

He was always my favorite character on L&O, SVU. I will sure miss him.

My condolences to the Belzer family. Richard and I and several other youngsters played basketball as kids in Bridgeport, CT. I remember him as a nice fun-loving guy. Wished him well with his career.

May your wings fly with god & May your soul rest in the kingdom of god , you Will be missed

You will be remembered for your acting.

Remember when he played "Law and Order: SVU" which was a regular staple on NBC since 1999.

One of a kind, such an amazing actor and performer. He will most assuredly be missed. Prayers for the Belzer family and friends, you are not alone in your loss, God be with
you all to help you in your time of loss.

What an incredible actor he was. We pray that God continues to strengthen and comfort the family during this extremely difficult period.

Condolences to Richard's loved ones. Larger than life and larger than a TV series, he gave us fans the power of old-time fiction detectives in an earthy but streetwise modern character. One of the brilliant troupe who make Law and Order a quality TV institution.
