Last year, Dick came to my home to see my train layout in the basement and after that, he really got into trains. I was over to his apt. last month to see his layout and was impressed. I had hoped to take my son over to see it so he could get some pointers for his layout. I had coffee with him 2-3 times a week at the Layfayette Rest. I sure will miss him; we had some good times telling war stories; Navy verses the Marines.
