Bob and all the Benner family - sorry to learn of Dick's passing. I last spoke with Dick at the banquet honoring the 1959 State Basketball Championship about 10 years ago. A real gentleman and genuine person.

My condolences go out to the entire Benner family. I had the pleasure of knowing and working with Dick for many years at the J&J location in Raritan, NJ. He was an extremely dedicated and well liked person. He always included me in any of his projects that affected the outside grounds at the site. Dick Benner made a huge difference to a lot of people at our office. He worked hard, got more done than most of the younger project managers. If you were working on a project with Dick, you'd receive frequent visits from the general, making sure that the campaign was progressing as planned. But he was always available if you needed a shoulder to cry on or someone to share your joy at a personal triumph. He was genuinely interested in everyone's well-being, and we loved him for it. He...
