I always enjoyed Richard's stories about his adventures & life experiences and admired the unconditional love between he and his wife, Denny, the world could use a lot more people like him.

Words escape me now and there aren't enough to describe what Richard has meant to the SFRD and Box 27 and also to all the firefighters in the state of Ohio as well as the multitude of friends he leaves behind. I will always remember Dick as a friend and mentor. He will not be forgotten. Rest in Peace Richard, job well done. Will miss you very much.
